Moving from connectFirst to Servus online banking

What former connectFirst members should verify before and after the move to Servus online and mobile banking.

Former connectFirst personal and small-business members are moving to Servus online and mobile banking as part of the banking-system conversion. The official Servus guidance says that most members will use their existing connectFirst user ID and password, but the first sign-in should be completed through Servus online banking rather than through the mobile app.

This article provides general orientation only. Conversion timing and instructions can change, so use the official Servus banking-updates pages before taking action.

Use only official sign-in pagesBegin at servus.ca and follow its banking link. This independent blog never hosts a sign-in form and will never request credentials or verification codes.

Preparing before the transition

Servus recommends confirming that you know your connectFirst user ID and password. Members who normally rely on facial recognition or a fingerprint should test their credentials before the transition. It is also sensible to make sure the phone number and email address associated with the account are current, because multifactor authentication may depend on those contact methods.

Detailed Interac e-Transfer records may not appear in exactly the same form after conversion. If you need recipient information or transfer details for bookkeeping, review the official instructions and save the records you need before the stated deadline.

Completing the first sign-in

The official process directs most personal and small-business members to open Servus online banking, enter their existing connectFirst user ID and password, complete the on-screen setup and configure multifactor authentication. After that first web sign-in, members can use the Servus mobile app.

Review the accounts shown after signing in. Members who had access to more than one business or who use commercial online banking may receive different instructions. Those users should follow communications sent directly by Servus or their business administrator.

When to contact official support

If an expected account is missing, credentials do not work or the sign-in instructions differ from what you received directly, stop and use the official Servus support page. Do not share passwords, one-time codes or security answers with an independent website or an unsolicited caller.
